This annotated bibliography, from SOCI 384, conducts research into how capitalistic production and consumer practices influence the trajectory of social justice movements

In this application paper for POLS 315, I write about female and queer body labor through the political ideological lens of socialism. This approach allows for a critical look into how sex labor is manipulated, allowed, and exploited by capitalism in American culture. 

While analyzing traditional sociological theories from SOCI 201, in this paper I apply them to prove how the expansion of technology and consumerist culture perpetuates class stratification in America and how capitalistic processes have destroyed individuals' sense of mental health.

In this essay from LIBS 202, I deconstruct the misconception that capitalism and colonialism are separate entities in order to illustrate how marginalized American populations are villanized for their economic ambitions as they attempt to survive in a system that does not support them.
